Feature requests

Description: Currently, badge permissions can only be set so that everyone or admins only can award badges (official badges). We’d like the ability to configure permissions so that managers can award certain badges without granting them full admin access. Why this matters: Enables recognition programs where specific badges (e.g., leadership, performance, or milestone badges) are only awarded by managers. Provides more control and flexibility without overextending admin privileges. Aligns recognition programs with organizational hierarchy and accountability. Requested functionality: A new permission option that allows managers (or a scoped group) to award selected badges. Ability to configure which badges are manager-only vs. available to everyone.

Would love a feature where badges can only be given by managers, not just admins.

Admins will be able to bring rewards into the platform and allow employees to redeem them directly through our recognition system. This seamless integration simplifies reward management and boosts engagement by connecting recognition with real rewards.

Admins will be able to assign different recognition point limits to specific user groups. This allows for more flexible reward policies such as giving managers higher monthly limits or customizing recognition rules for different departments.

Ability to edit a spelling mistake in a recognition

Emails and teams reminders to recognize team members. Ability to set these on a schedule by org or individual to improve engagement with recognitions.

For the line manager to be able to recommend a colleague for promotion (Department leader towards his superior). We would need to have files attached to prove reached milestones. This goes to the approver with the performance review attached and button to approve so HR can take action. A button to dispute, so line manager can provide further documentation or goals, or a button to decline where the approver would need to provide reasoning for their decision.

It would be good to have an option where the badge giver gets notified when someone comments on the badge they send out. This would help foster a positive feedback loop for both the badge givers and receivers.

We would like to open "Enable monthly giveable recognition point limit" setting for only users, but make it limitless to admins.

Would be nice to have the recognize display in Teams Chat to comment and also motivate others to achieve recognition.
