When applying date filters, there is a possibility that the parent objective will not be lost, even if it does not meet the filters

YES! It should retrieve the goals that overlap with the filtered date in any way. E.G. We have objectives that are 1 year long , and they have KRs as subgoals that are 1 quarter long. If I filter out 2nd Q, instead of giving me the objective and the Q2 KRs , it only gives me the KRS.
